Rock Otočec 2012 – 27 June – 1 July 2012
This year I was also at Rock Otočec and this time the festival lasted for five days. I was there until Sunday. The festival was great and the weather was perfect!

The first day of the festival was devoted to the show called ČlovekA z bombami. The show was directed by Matjaž Berger.
The show involved some theather actors and actresses, as well as Slovenian rock band Siddharta, opera singers, dancers, gymnasts and ballerinas.
Tomi Meglič (Siddharta) said that this is a very personal performance. And Matjaž Berger (director of the show) said that this is a new genre, not rock opera but the show of more subversive nature.
On the second day of the festival a few more of Slovenian bands performed: Up n’ downs, Soundtopia, Dandelion Children and Manouche. Then Swedish “jazz – hip/hop” band Movits!,
popular croatian “punk rock” band Hladno pivo
and “gypsy punk” band Gogol Bordello.
Performers on the third day were: Džem, Momento, “rock ‘n’ roll” band EightBomb,
Crossfire, the famous “gypsy punk” band Kultur Shock,
English “electro” band New Young Pony Club,
popular Slovenian rock band Mi2
and a band called Orlek.
The performers on the fourth day were: Pištolj na gumene metke, D8 Dimension, El Kachon, Deafness by Noise, Passogigante, Danilo Kocjančič & Friends, Happy Ol’McWeasel,
Vlado Kreslin in Mali bogovi,
Bajaga i instruktori
and internationally acclaimed Macedonian electronic musician Kiril Džajkovski.
